Certification
eLearning and classroom training and education can lead to exam-based certification.
Varied Scenarios
Everware-CBDI SOA training and education supports a variety of scenarios and requirements. For example,
- Establishing a Base-Line Capability. eLearning, Classroom and Certification-based approaches enable a base-line capability to be established for a variety of audiences across an organization
- Equipping Projects and Programs. Classroom and Workshop approaches are an ideal way to ensure that a project or program starts on the right foot, with a clear understanding of the deliverables they must produce, the process and techniques involved, and how they will be governed.
- Workshops enable these activities to be considered in the context of the organization's existing practices, or to consider stakeholder input to identify opportunities or issues that may arise. In a workshop, the team might work with Everware-CBDI consultants to produce some 'first cut' or high-level deliverables so that no time is wasted.
- Fast Track. The Fast Track or 'boot camp' is a popular way to condense the agendas of several education topics into one in order to train a group of architects or a project team in a short focused period, perhaps at the outset of a major project or program. Typically combining elements of Service Architecture, Service Specification, plus some specific modules that reflect the context of the project – for example, Application Modernization or SOA Governance
- Service Delivery with Training and Education. Beyond workshops, organizations may engage Everware-CBDI in a more extensive combination of service delivery and education whereby for example, Everware-CBDI consultants participate in, or assume responsibility for projects that produce a major deliverable, whilst at the same time educating, guiding and mentoring the rest of the organization's team. See our Services brochure for further details
- Tailor Made. Experience shows us that no two scenarios are quite the same and we welcome discussion regarding customizing education and workshops agendas to suit specific requirements.
Beyond the core topics covered in this brochure, Everware-CBDI can add additional modules covering subjects such as Enterprise Architecture, Application Modernization, or Business Modeling for SOA
